Last year Adelaide had it's first White Ribbon March to raise awareness and march in solidarity with those effected by domestic violence. Over 700 people attended and this years event is likely to be even bigger. I trust you are aware of the growing momentum of ordinary Australian's seeking to end the epidemic of domestic violence in our nation. One woman a week dies at the hands of her partner or ex-partner. The problem is so big researchers are calling it an epidemic.
We will be marching again on Saturday Nov 28th,10am from Victoria Square, to highlight this crucial issue and call for further support for those affected especially preventative measures.
You are invited to attend this event.
