As works progress at Oaklands Crossing, the Project Team is starting to gear up for the second traffic switch in early October. Following completion of the October Long Weekend works, traffic will be diverted to the western side of the road, so construction can begin on the eastern side of the bridge.Read more
It was great to have Federal Infrastructure Minister Paul Fletcher in town this week to have a look at how the Oaklands Crossing works are progressing.
A number of pedestrian crossings around the Oaklands Crossing will be closed and diverted, with new crossings established. This will allow the project team to start construction on a temporary road diversion on the eastern side of Morphett Road, so that works on the bridge can start. This will mean changes will be made to the way pedestrians access the station.
Since the start of the project, I have received plenty of feedback from the community about how the Oaklands Crossing Project will impact the trees situated near the Oaklands Station.Read more

I just wanted to let you know about the progress on the “Fix Oaklands Crossing” project since my last update.
Since the State Election there has been progress including community consultation sessions and, as you may have seen, fences have been erected and the site is being set up on the south eastern side of the crossing to house the workers and machinery with work due to start in coming weeks.Read more
Great news this week with the announcement that Public Transport Projects Alliance are the successful tenderers for the Oaklands grade Separation Project. It is reassuring to hear that work will get underway by the middle of this year to fix this ongoing issue.Read more
