Premier Jay Weatherill and Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis have delivered a disastrous budget for all South Australians.
Labor has settled and announced they will be creating even fewer jobs than they forecast last year.
Unemployment has hit a whopping 7.6% and Labor has not taken the opportunity to address the jobs crisis.
The ESL will be increased again. The Repat will be closed, and other hospitals will be downgraded.
State debt is growing, there are no new infrastructure investments, and state owned assets are being sold off.Read more
The 2015 Federal Budget that has been handed down this month announced that South Australia will receive an additional share of GST revenue to the tune of $857million over the next 3 years.
With nearly a billion dollars in extra GST revenue from the Federal Government, Premier Weatherill should now, without delay, promise to continue the Council Rate Pensioner Concessions for South Australian Pensioners.Read more

COMMITMENT TO BLOCKING CONCESSION CUTS TO PENSIONERS
Along with other local Councils in South Australia, the City of Marion recently sent a rate payer funded letter to local pensioners advising their council rate concession will end as of July 1 this year.
I have received almost a thousand responses from local residents opposing Labor’s hikes to the Emergency Services Levy. When South Australians are already doing it tough, it is sad to see we have a government who have little hesitation in taking even more money from the pockets of homeowners, families, community groups, schools, and volunteer organisations. What’s worse is that not a single cent more will be spent on emergency services, despite some people’s ESL bills going up more than 1000%!
The electorate of Mitchell from Oaklands Park to Reynella is home to a terrific group of South Australians. Growing up in the electorate and living in the local community, the people of Mitchell have inspired and influenced me personally and professionally. In my maiden speech to Parliament I spoke of the people of Mitchell as my biggest source of inspiration and motivation as it is you who make our communities a great place to live, work and socialise
