COMMITMENT TO BLOCKING CONCESSION CUTS TO PENSIONERS
Along with other local Councils in South Australia, the City of Marion recently sent a rate payer funded letter to local pensioners advising their council rate concession will end as of July 1 this year.
It was a pleasure to visit Iris and her husband Leslie for their 70th Wedding Anniversary.
The couple shared their celebrations at a dinner where they were joined by family and friends.
Leslie wasn't home when I called by. He might be 90 years old but like Iris, Leslie is still a very active and valued member of our community who believes if you keep busy and mobile you keep young.Read more
