Having driven the Eyre and Lincoln Highways earlier this month it is extremely sad to read about the two fatal crashes on this stretch of road in the past fortnight. COMMITMENT TO BLOCKING CONCESSION CUTS TO PENSIONERS
Along with other local Councils in South Australia, the City of Marion recently sent a rate payer funded letter to local pensioners advising their council rate concession will end as of July 1 this year.
It was a pleasure to visit Iris and her husband Leslie for their 70th Wedding Anniversary.
The couple shared their celebrations at a dinner where they were joined by family and friends.
Leslie wasn't home when I called by. He might be 90 years old but like Iris, Leslie is still a very active and valued member of our community who believes if you keep busy and mobile you keep young.Read more
