Having driven the Eyre and Lincoln Highways earlier this month it is extremely sad to read about the two fatal crashes on this stretch of road in the past fortnight. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of those involved in the accidents. I cannot begin to imagine the pain they are feeling.

Iris & Lesie celebrate 70th anniversary

It was a pleasure to visit Iris and her husband Leslie for their 70th Wedding Anniversary.

The couple shared their celebrations at a dinner where they were joined by family and friends.

Leslie wasn't home when I called by. He might be 90 years old but like Iris, Leslie is still a very active and valued member of our community who believes if you keep busy and mobile you keep young.
