SA Labor has not approched the Federal Government about Oaklands Crossing

This month I received a letter from Jamie Briggs MP advising us that the SA Government has not made a request for either funding or assistance from the (Federal) Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development regarding the proposed (Oaklands) crossing upgrade.  In addition, the Australian Government has not been advised of a timeframe for commencement or completion of the of the proposed works.

Woodend Primary School breaks through gender stereotypes

The year 6/7s at Woodend Primary School have been working on a fantastic project to try and prevent future domestic violence by breaking down gender stereotypes and discussing the ideas of ‘masculinity’ and ‘respect’ in their health lessons.

Southern Expressway Motion

I rise to speak on this motion and note that it is the second incarnation for the member for Kaurna to get this up. In fact he withdrew it from the Notice Paper (or it was not moved) before parliament was prorogued, because it was not finished, because it was quite unusual. It was opened a handful of times before it was completed.
