Tips and tricks to keep you and your community safe

As a community it is important that we do not take our safety for granted and remain vigilant, be aware of unusual behaviour and look out for the more vulnerable around us. Scam and hoax activity has been reported around our community with the elderly and children being targeted.

It is very important that this behaviour is reported to the authorities so that the victims can be helped as quickly as possible and so that the activity can be investigated to protect others. Here are the numbers to know to report a scam or hoax.

Call 000 to report a crime that is taking place or has just been committed

 South Australian Police 131 444

Call 131 444 to report a crime, traffic issues, or to ask about local security and safety issues

Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000

Call 1800 333 000 to report information about a crime, criminal activity or an unsolved crime.
