Hello to the new Oaklands Railway Station!!

What a journey it has been!  This morning trains pulled in at the lowered Oaklands Railway Station.  It was a fantastic sight, and certainly one our community has worked long and hard to see achieved.

Whilst project works will continue for the rest of 2019, including removing the old station, car park construction, roadworks, SA Water asset installations and landscaping, I can feel the community’s relief at no longer having to wait for trains at Oaklands Crossing!

Once again, I want to thank the community for their patience during the remaining works and look forward to when the project is complete and we have “Fixed Oaklands Crossing”.
