Globe Link

State Liberal Leader Steven Marshall recently announced the exciting new Globe Link Project.

Globe Link is a generational upgrade of our freight export infrastructure, providing South Australian companies with the competitive advantage they need to get our premium quality South Australian products to markets across the globe.

Globe Link will include the development of a 24 Hour Freight Airport near Murray Bridge

- A non-stop freight corridor that bypasses the city and takes trucks off Portrush and Cross Roads

- A new inter-modal export park that brings together the four modes of freight movement, namely road, rail, air and sea, and creates an unprecedented opportunity for an Export Park near Murray Bridge.

- Safe, efficient and sustainable road freight infrastructure which is central to unlocking the productive capacity of South Australian businesses and exporters.

- An effective and modern rail transport network is critical to managing the expected growth in the national land freight task.

You can help shape the future of freight transport in South Australia with your feedback at the Globe Link website
