On Monday 5 September the Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Urban Development, Mr Paul Fletcher visited the Oaklands Crossing.
Corey joined newly elected Federal Member for Boothby, Nicolle Flint, Shadow Minister for Transport David Pisoni and the Member for Bright David Speirs as they provided Minister Fletcher with a briefing on the crossing and a tour of the site.
The recently re-elected Federal Government have so far committed $40 million to a solution to fix the Oaklands Crossing. This commitment is the first time any money has been pledged to fund a solution to the crossing.
The most important step now is to find the right solution for the community, businesses, residents and commuters.
