Following my community meeting in December last year and subsequent feedback from residents, The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) have approved the instillation of a Colourbond fence to cover the 'rusty looking' noise wall in Sturt and Darlington.
Image designs of the fencing have been prepared and as we requested in December, residents will be consulted before the fence is installed. DPTI will host a Community Meeting on Tuesday 9 June 2015 and I encourage anyone with an interest in this issue to attend and provide feedback.
