On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I visited the North Brighton Community Garden for its Spring Open Day.
This wonderful community garden was the result of years of planning that led to securing a location at Bowker Oval in 2019.
It was great to see so many local residents today making full use of this public space, strolling through its paths and caring for the range of plants.
The team behind this community garden have done a fantastic job promoting better health and wellbeing in the community, and encouraging other residents to grow their own food.
