Seaview High School transformed into world-class education hub

As part of the Marshall State Government’s Building Better Schools program, Seaview High School will receive an impressive $16.2 million development injection.

The project will be finished in time to welcome students in Term 1 2022. It will also coincide with our plan to transition Year 7 students into high school, a move which will bring our state's education system into the 21st century and in line with other states and territories.

Among the upgrades being considered to transform and build our local Seaview High School into a world-class education hub are:

  • Construction of a new 2 level multi-purpose creative design building.
  • Construction of new performing arts facility and associated performance spaces, including rehearsal workshops, amenities and outdoor spaces; and
  • Refurbishment of an existing building to provide contemporary learning areas, including spaces to deliver STEM.
